Nitrogen Removal with the Activated Sludge Process
This course is about how we remove nitrogen from wastewater using the activated sludge process. For those of you who may not know, the activated sludge process is a system that uses microorganisms to remove dissolved pollutants like BOD, nitrogen, and phosphorus. This course is intended to introduce basic concepts and discuss typical roles/ responsibilities an operator has in running these systems.
