Sludge Densification: What, Why, & How
Sludge densification is an innovative technology and trend hitting our industry. It is a technology aimed at intentionally growing a biomass that settles really well, and with it we can potentially get more treatment capacity out of existing facilities without having to build more tankage, clarifiers, etc.  This course introduces the basic underlying concepts, the associated benefits, and general guidance on how to implement at a WWTP.
